KABALE REGIONAL MUSEUM

From the National Museums and Monuments Policy, 2015:

Uganda has 5 museums located in Kampala, Kabale, Soroti, and Moroto.

The Kabale Regional Museum was amalgamated into the Department of Antiquities and Museums in 1977 alongside the Soroti Regional Museum.

There are plans to expand regional museums of Moroto, Soroti and Kabale.

The current museums and monument infrastructure is characterised by one National Museum, 2 regional museums in Kabale and Moroto.
