Thumb Piano

In 1876, Fredrick Ulmer Ltd of London supplied this Albion hand proofing printing press to the church missionary society as part of equipment for its pioneer expedition to uganda. It was tied into loads which were carried by head from Zanzibar to the south end of l. Victoria. This printing press is displayed through the kindness of the Church of Uganda and the Church Missionary Society. E54.56
