Spiked Wheel Trap

This is a trap of great antiquity, originating in Asia, known in early Egypt, Greece & Rome &found all down the Nile to uganda. The spiked wheel is buried just below the surface on a game path with a noose attached to a log over to. the spikes cause the animal to kick & pull tight the tethering rope, after which it can only hobble slowly until the hunter activities
